TOOTSIE ROLL!!!

I received a tootsie roll from my friend Jarred Ray today and
later on I asked him to bring me another one. About 30 minutes
later one of my other friends Chris Val walks in my office and
dumps a bag of 300 tootsie rolls on my head!!!! I guess I got what I asked for!

BEST DAY IN A LONG TIME!

Friday for us outreach interns usually includes helping clean up after the ladies support group at the Dream Center. Well, this past Friday we met an amazing family who have had some rough times. The family included the grandmother, the mother and 7 BEAUTIFUL children.

We took them to go get showered and take them to the shelter. I got the pleasure of having 3 of the kids ride with me. They told me that we were saving them and they were really happy about their mommy getting to start over. It was definitely one of those days where I realized how God's grace is so detailed in our lives. His grace covers me when I worry about getting gas money and His grace also covers Natalie, Clarence, Precious, and Princess when they aren't sure where they are going to sleep at night. OUR GOD COVERS....plain and simple!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DIALOGUE OF THE DAY:
Anj: Dad, do you think that you could pick me up today?

Dad: Well, I was going to surprise you, but I got your car
today!!!!!!

Anj: What?! Am I going to get it today?

Dad: Yes, I'll come get you and we will get it!!!!!!

As I read this I think about my STUNNING people in Nkobe, Mozambique! I think about how God has placed such a light around Isaac and Carol.I think about them waking up (every single day) and allowing God's light to drench them so that the beautiful people of Nkobe can know our Jesus!!!

This passage is also such an encouragement for me to always know that it is time to wake up to the injustice of this world and to allow God to prepare us for His work.....JUSTICE AND FREEDOM!!!!!!

I know, i know...it has been forever!!!

Please forgive me for not posting in forever!This is just a glimpse of how the "outreach interns" feel at about 5:30 on any given work day. Although it is COMPLETELY worth it for the kingdom we all get so so sweaty...YUCKY!!!! In this picture we were riding in Kelly Pitts car and Kelly Finegan caught me hanging out of the window because those leather seats and Louisiana heat just werent grooving together...you know?

Driving is stressing me out!!!!!!!!!

This, my friends, is a KIA Spectra. Although this isnt my exact car, this is what I drive....or used to drive. For those of you that know me (and you dont even have to know me well to know that) I AM TERRIBLE AT DRIVING!!! And I hate it! It's as if I'm not A.D.D. unless I am behind a wheel...so needless to say, I need everyone to pray a car into my life and if you can pray in some better attention skills....Thanks everyone!
